What’s the best thing about California shredding?
The weather for sure! It’s either snowing or it’s sunny. I’ve lived in Utah,Montana, Colorado, and Tahoe,
and Cali has by far and away the best weather.

Favorite Trick?
Switch Backside 9

What’s your go to, warm-up trick on a jump? Jib?
Switch Backside 5 on a jump, Backside 5-0 on a jib.

Is there a certain genre of music you listen to while you ride?
Too Short, Mac Dre or something like that to get me hyped up.

Describe your perfect day on the hill?
Hate on some plankers, spray ski patrol. Stomp a few tricks and claim hard.
Eat some sushi, scheme on some skinnies, and then black out at the bar.

Who are your favorite film crews?
I’ve been really stoked on Videograss and Transworld the last few years.
I’ve always been a fan of People, Standard, Absinthe, and of course Rome.

Which snowboarders do you look up to?
The legends, the ones who have made it their own way by doing their own
thing. Travis Rice, Devun Walsh, Gigi Ruf, and younger guys like John
Jackson and Jake Blauvelt. I’m really stoked on guys who can step to
big backcountry features and still kill it at urban like Bode Merrill, Mark
Sollors, and Johnnie Paxson.

How have you spent your summer?
Traveling, partying, cliff diving, skating my miniramp, and going to school.
Doing lots of 12 oz curls on the beach up at Tahoe.

What’s your favorite thing about San Francisco?
Hipster girls and cold summers.

Do you think that the SFO cabin will still be in one piece by the end of the season?
I am literally going to burn that place to the ground…
