What’s the best thing about California shredding?
The best thing about California shredding is that every day is usually a perfect, sunny
day. During the week I can ride Mountain High, and then on weekends I’ll take a quick
trip to Mammoth or Tahoe. Usually mammoth because the jumps are built big and picture
perfect all the time!

Favorite trick?
Frontside corked 7’s!

What’s your go to, warm up trick on a jump? Jib?
My warm up trick on a jump is a back 5 tail grab. On a jib it would have to be a front
boardslide.

Is there a certain genre of music you listen to while you ride?
I love listening to some good hip hop. Prefer the grouch, living legends, hieroglyphics,
or even some old school Wu tang.

Describe your perfect day on the hill?
The perfect day on the hill is a couple days after a big storm, so the park is a bigger and
freshly built. I’d be riding with the homies- Keith Lederman, TJ Cooper, Garret Kline,
Jason Stulbaum, Andrew Tebo, Brian Jamienson, Wes Hoover and Corey Strong. Riding
with any or all of them is a perfect day on the hill. It’s all about shredding with your
crew!

What are your favorite film crews?
I would have to say Mack Dawg, Sandbox, Brainfarm, and old school Robot Food and
Standard films.

Which snowboarders do you look up to?
Eero Ettala, JP Walker, Travis Rice, both Jeremy Jones, Peter Line, Ikka Backstrom,
Andreas Wigg

How have you spent your summer?
Hanging out by the pool, bbq’n, boozin’, hanging out with the girlfriend, working a
lot, making trips to San Diego to chill with wolfpack gzg. I went to the east coast for 2
weeks. Thinking of tricks for the new season… so ready to get back on shred!

What’s your favorite thing about San Francisco?
Keith and his sexy long hair, SFO and FTC, and the party, which sometimes is so good
you don’t really remember it! Whatever, I’m hung over right now… it’s labor day!

Do you think that the SFO cabin will still be in one piece by the end of the season?
I hope not! I didn’t get a chance to go there last season, so this winter its on. I need to
help break it in.
